Copy iTunes Movie to HP Touchpad-convert iTunes M4V to MP4
Now that you have got an HP TouchPad, you can bring your movie library along and enjoy movies and music wherever you go, whenever you like. The guide tells ya how to transfer videos from iTunes Movies Library to HP TouchPad, including the protected movies purchased from iTunes Store and free movie collections.
Transfer an unprotected iTunes video to HP TouchPad
It is easy to transfer iTunes videos to HP TouchPad, as the TouchPad plays H.264 and MPEG-4 video compatible with iTunes. So you just drag and drop them to your Touch Pad like you do with other videos. Here're steps to follow:
Step 1. Connect HP TouchPad to your computer using the USB cable.
Step 2. On your TouchPad, tap USB Drive. On your computer, your device appears as a removable drive.
Step 3. On a Windows computer, if the Found New Hardware wizard opens, click Cancel to close the wizard.
Step 4. Open My Computer, double click the drive representing TouchPad; and drag and drop files to TouchPad folders.
In case that your HP TouchPad refuse to play the QuickTime .mov files, convert iTunes m4v to .mp4 with Video Converter first.
Transfer iTunes video purchases and rentals to HP TouchPad
This is a bit complicated as the movies purchased or rented from iTunes Store are protected by DRM restrictions- you can't play them to any devices other than Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod, etc. You can put protected iTunes movies onto HP TouchPad tablet though, but the movies won't play. In order to enjoy iTunes DRM movies on HP TouchPad, you can use a DRM removal tool to get them clean. Here're steps to follow:
Before conversion：
1. Purchase/Download Pavtube ChewTune- the DRM video converter.
2. Set iTunes not to remember position.
Step 1. Launch iTunes, and switch to "Movies" under LIBRARY.
Step 2. Select the videos you'd like to convert, right click on them, and select "Get Info".
Step 3. Switch to "Options" tab, find "Remember position" and select "No" from its drop-down list. Click "OK" to confirm.
Now you're ready to remove the DRM from iTunes movie purchases, here you go:
Step 1. Drag and drop the movies from iTunes Movie Library to the Pavtube ChewTune (click to download trial). Or click "Add" button on the main interface to import iTunes protected movies.
Step 2. Click "Format" and select an output format for HP TouchPad. Here I suggest you choose "Common Video > H.264 Video (*.mp4)".
3. Click "Convert" to export DRM-free iTunes movies. The conversion proceeds as iTunes plays the movies. So DO NOT turn off iTunes until the conversion is completed.
When conversion completes, click "Open" to locate the DRM-free movies, and copy iTunes movie to HP Touch Pad as the steps shows above.
