Convert Blu-ray, DVD, Video to VTech InnoTab 3S /3 for playing with best video quality
Here is a step-by-step guide to show how to remove Blu-ray/DVD protection and convert HD Videos (MKV, AVI, VOB, Tivo, MTS) to VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3.
Q1: I purchased this for my 5 year-old nephew (we have guardianship of him) for Christmas this year. We paired it with the new Innotab 3S. He loves it!! It gets plenty loud enough for his bedroom. He enjoys listening to his mp3's and watching the videos he has downloaded on his Innotab 3S. Well worth it to save on battery use. But is any way to get his favorite Blu-ray DVD movies with this Kids Table for freely playback without drive?
Q2: We got this along with the Innotab 3 for my son's Christmas gift. He absolutely loves it. He always tries to put my tablet on the dock, and now he can do the same thing with his own tablet. The sound is great, and it doesn't get too loud. Just enough for the kids. Great toy and a cool idea from Vtech. And there is a function- Wish List Maker which lets kids wirelessly explore hundreds of games, e-books, videos, music and more on VTech’s Learning Lodge and send their favorite picks right to mom or dad’s email. All is good but he find some videos are not supported by this tablet, then how to solve this issue and then we can view movies without boundary?
It is fun for watching movies on VTech InnoTab, but InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3 only plays its preferred video stuff. MPEG-4 and H.264 are always the most compatible formats with InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3.
What we need?
To transfer Blu-ray/DVD to VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3, the first step is to remove commercial Blu-ray discs and DVDs protection from film studio, and then do the conversion. Convert Blu-ray, DVD Movies and HD Videos to VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3 supported format.
Step 1. Load Media Files to InnoTab 3S/3 Ultimate Video Converter.
Install and run the Blu-Ray/DVD/Video to InnoTab Converter, click the top left “Load files” to load Blu-ray/DVD from disc drive, folder or ISO/IFO; or load your video files like MKV, AVI, VOB, Tivo, WMV, MTS, MXF, MOV, TOD, MOD, 3GP, FLV, F4V, M4V, etc. by clicking the second icon “Add video”.
Note:
a. Your computer needs an external BD drive for loading Blu-ray/DVD movie.
b. You can select a subtitle language and then check Forced subtitles to output a video with only subtitles in the foreign language part.Step 2. Set output format for VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3.
To play movies and videos on VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3, you need to set a compatible format for the Table.
You can click on the pull down menu of “Format” to choose Common Video-> H.264 Video(*.mp4) or MPEG-4 Movie(*.mp4) for conversion.
Step 3. Customize video specs. (Optional)
For people who want to further customizing output video size and quality, you can click “Settings” on the bottom to enter Profile Settings Window, and customize video size, frame rate, bitrate, codec and sample rate(Hz). In general, the higher bit rate, the bigger output file size.
According to video testing result, for watching videos on the Android tablet, 720p with 1500~2500kbps is just all right.Step 4. Convert Blu-ray/DVD movies and Various Videos to VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3.
Now click "Convert" button to start converting Blu-ray/DVD/Video to VTech InnoTab. When the conversion task is finished, you can click “Open output folder” button to get the videos ready for playback on VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3.
How to transfer movie files to VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3?
Connect VTech InnoTab to computer, open the movie file folder, drage the converted Blu-ray/DVD movie files to VTech InnoTab 3S and InnoTab 3. That's all, you can play Blu-ray/DVD on Motorola DROID Mini for free now.
Additional Tips:
1. Keep in mind that some of the settings can be tweaked to improve the video quality but it's a balance between quality and size. Using the settings we suggested, a 120-minute Blu-ray encoded to about a 1.3GB MP4 file.
2.
